The California Museum presents ...

There is no other perfect way to end a hot summer day than with an outdoor movie. Sitting under the stars next to your sweetheart and enjoying a classic film is one of the many pleasures summer can afford. And with the growing popularity of dowtown Sacramento's Second Saturday, The California Museum is offering another hot and steamy alternative to the night’s end.

The California Museum is launching a new summer program, Movie Night at the Museum, with free admission, guests can enjoy a classic movie in July and August shown in the Constitution Courtyard.

California Hall of Fame inductee, Clint Eastwood was gracious enough to sign the Special Edition DVD of The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly and the box set of Letters from Iwo Jima and Flags of Our Fathers specifically for the Museum to give away as raffle prizes! So get to the Museum early and fill out a raffle slip to win this rare prize at the August 9th showing.

Each movie begins at 8:30 PM. Doors open at 8pm and guests should bring their own blanket or camp chair for seating purposes. Nearby parking is free and well-lit.

Guests can purchase popcorn or food from the Gold Rush Grille.
