Membership is the Museum’s foundation of support

As a private non-profit 501(c)3 organization operating in partnership with the State of California, the Museum relies on proceeds from admissions and Museum Store sales as well as support from the community and sponsors to fund its general operations.

Membership is the foundation of the Museum's public support. Thanks to the generosity of members, the Museum can continue to produce exciting new exhibits and exceptional programming that meet its mission to educate, enlighten and inspire visitors with California's past, present and future.
