Bring California history, arts & culture alive for your class
Learning opportunities extend far beyond the classroom, but many
schools are finding it more and more difficult to bring students
to museums and cultural organizations.
Thanks to a generous grant from Target®, The California Museum is
pleased to offer “Think Outside the Classroom” scholarships
funding transportation and admission for qualifying
schools, helping the Museum to fulfill its mission to provide
children unique, first-hand learning experiences and educational
tools that bring California’s history, arts and culture alive.
Target’s “Think Outside The Classroom” scholarship program
includes:
Bus transportation, student admission and one chaperone for
every 10 students admission
Funding for up to 1,000 Sacramento City Unified School
District Title 1 students enrolled during the 2012-13 school
year
