Our state flag – the Bear Flag – displays a red star and the
powerful grizzly bear. But who created the Bear Flag and why?
Share with your students the exciting history of California’s
statehood while they create their own flag from fun foam.
Students will learn about the symbols on the flag and its
creation.
Each kit includes: fun foam, extra materials, instructions, and
history of the Bear Flag. $2.50 per kit plus shipping and
handling.
The California Museum learning experience doesn’t just happen at
the Museum. These are activities designed to engage students
