The California Museum is a private non-profit 501(c)3 organization reliant upon the generosity of the community to provide quality exhibits and programming through donations, memberships and sponsorships.

Launched in 2006 with a lead gift from former Governor Arnold
Schwarzenegger and former First Lady Maria Shriver, the Founders
Circle is the Museum’s donor program of unrestricted gifts of
$25,000 or more.
Among other benefits, Founders Circle members are invited to
attend the California Hall of Fame induction ceremony and
recognized on the Museum’s lobby donor wall, web site,
newsletters and other materials.

The California Museum produces several extraordinary exhibits,
exciting events and exceptional educational resources each year
featuring a variety of California’s people and stories not
commonly presented elsewhere. Sponsorship of the Museum’s
exhibits, events and educational programs are a cost-effective
way to fulfill corporate marketing and philanthropic objectives
simultaneously, while also supporting new generations of
California dreamers.
In-kind donations also support the Museum. When businesses and
individuals provide goods and services at little or no cost, we
can direct our financial resources toward essential projects that
fulfill our mission.
