Celebrating the 100th anniversary of Women’s Suffrage in the Golden State, multiple events for the entire family will be held at The California Museum on Monday, October 10th from 9:30am to 6:30pm.
Festivities include exhibits, film screenings, living history presenters, community and public officials, music, reenactments, a march to the State Capitol and a closing reception with Secretary of State Debra Bowen.
To commemorate the opening of suffrage-enhanced updates to "California's Remarkable Women 2011," FREE admission will be offered in conjunction with this event all day long.
