Celebrate a friend, family member or ancestor by participating in the Day of the Dead Community Altar
Members of the public are invited to honor a friend, family member or ancestor by participating in the Museum’s community altar located in a gallery adjacent to “Day of the Dead – Art of Día de los Muertos” by leaving a copy of a non-returnable 4″ x 6″ photo or a decorated sugar skull worksheet.
Free with paid admission, the Day of the Dead Community Altar is open during the Museum’s regular business hours on Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Sunday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
