Jami Warner Goldstene
Jami Warner Goldstene is President of JWarnerGroup, a strategic communications practice established in 2005. She was previously Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Sacramento office of Edelman, the world’s largest public relations firm. Warner brings deep experience in strategic and crisis communications, branding, media relations, local, statewide and national public affairs to her projects.
Before joining Edelman, Warner served as Senior Vice President for Deen & Black Public Relations and Director of Client Service for Stoorza, Ziegaus & Metzger, a firm that specialized in California public affairs. Prior to her career in private sector strategic communications, she was the Director of Governmental Affairs for the California State University system, the Manager of California Government Relations for Unocal Corporation and served as a senior staff member for three California elected officials, where she held senior-level policy positions with the City of Los Angeles, the California State Legislature and the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. Warner started her career in communications as a political reporter for the Los Angeles Daily News and an editorial assistant at KNBC-TV, Los Angeles.
Warner’s work on behalf of her clients has been recognized with numerous public relations industry awards, including two Silver Anvil awards, the industry’s highest honor.
In 2005, Former California First Lady Maria Shriver nominated Warner to serve on the Board of Trustees for the California Museum. She is also an active volunteer for several non-profit organizations in the Sacramento community.
Warner received a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from California State University, Northridge and lives in Gold River, CA with her husband, James Goldstene, and their daughter, Lily.
