This in-depth field trip tour provides students the opportunity to experience life in a WWII incarceration camp through the first-hand accounts of Japanese American docents who experienced it.
Begins with a 30-minute docent-led presentation on Japanese American incarceration during WWII, followed by a guided tour of “Uprooted! Japanese Americans During WWII.” Aligned with 5th, 8th & 11th grade History-Social Science and K-12 Common Core English Language Arts.
