Experience life in a WWII internment camp with the Museum's in-depth learning program, "Time of Remembrance."
Students explore citizenship, constitutionality and the concept of redress as they are led through a tour of the Museum's "Uprooted! Japanese Americans During WWII" exhibit by a formerly-interned Museum docent. Following the tour, students are assisted with completing the Time of Remembrance Activity Sheet by the Museum's first floor gallery guides.
To prepare students for this thought-provoking, powerful program, teachers are provided with a free resource packet.
