Distance Learning
Activities aligned with K-12 Common Core & State Content Standards
Launched in March 2020, this online program features free education materials aligned with K-12 Common Core and California State Content standards to further students’ learning at home during the COVID-19 school closures.
Resources cover a range of California history, arts and culture topics and are available as downloadable, printable PDFs and as paperless, shareable Google Classroom assignments.
For the 2022-23 school year, new Online Tours are also available for distance learning students and now booking.

Standards-aligned curriculum for K-12th grade classes
In alignment with the Museum’s mission to educate and inspire visitors to make their mark on history, an emphasis is placed on providing tools and resources that meet the practical needs of teachers in classrooms across California.
All field trip tour and learning programs feature accompanying materials aligned with History-Social Science, Visual and Performing Arts, Common Core ELA, Civics outcomes and CASEL Core SEL Competencies.
