Standard Field Trip

Overview

Standard Field Trip Tour
Available year-round

As of March 13, 2020, all group tours are canceled until further notice during our COVID-19 temporary closure. Although reservations for future tour dates may be submitted, we are unable to guarantee future dates for group tours due to restrictions from the California Department of Public Health.

In lieu of onsite field trip tours, California’s Journey Virtual Tour is available for distance learning during the 2020-21 school year. Visit tour page for details.

Offering the best value on discounted student and chaperone admission, the Standard Field Trip Tour provides class groups of 30 or more a brief welcome and introduction on California’s constitution, along with the opportunity to explore the Museum at the group’s leisure.

Includes pre- and post-visit curriculum and 10-minute docent-led introduction on Constitution Wall, followed by completion of an activity sheet on a self-guided tour of current exhibits. Aligned with History-Social Science, Visual and Performing Arts, Common Core ELA, Civics outcomes and CASEL Core SEL Competencies.
