Time of Remembrance Field Trip

Exploring citizenship, constitutionality and redress, the Time of Remembrance Field Trip brings a pivotal chapter of history to life for students through the first-hand accounts of Japanese American survivors who endured life behind barbed wire during World War II.

Includes a 30-minute docent-led interactive program on Japanese American incarceration followed by completion of an activity sheet on a guided tour of Uprooted! Japanese Americans During WWII,” plus pre- and post-visit activities. Aligned with 5th, 8th & 11th grade History-Social Science and Common Core ELA.
