“Time of Remembrance” Traveling Trunk

The Museum’s traveling trunk program brings the learning opportunities from the “Time of Remembrance” Field Trip to your campus and a pivotal chapter of history to life for middle and high school students over a 2-week period.
Includes artifact reproductions, lesson plans and hands-on activities exploring life in a WWII incarceration camp, along with citizenship, constitutionality and redress, presented in a WWII-era suitcase. A 60-minute presentation given by a “Time of Remembrance” docent may be added for an additional fee. Aligned with 5th, 8th and 11th grade History-Social Science and Common Core ELA.

*Available for middle/junior high and high schools only. Minimum of 2 weeks advance reservations, credit card deposit and in-person pickup/return are required. Program reservations that include a docent subject to docent availability.
