Unity Starts With Me Field Trip Tour
Available year-round

As of March 13, 2020, all group tours are canceled until further notice during our COVID-19 temporary closure. Although reservations for future tour dates may be submitted, we are unable to guarantee future dates for group tours due to restrictions from the California Department of Public Health.

In lieu of onsite field trip tours, California’s Journey Virtual Tour is available for distance learning during the 2020-21 school year. Visit tour page for details.

Featuring social-emotional learning curriculum for middle and high school students, the Unity Starts With Me Field Trip Tour is designed to increase student comprehension and engagement in civics, democracy and activism.

Includes pre- and post-visit curriculum and 25-minute interactive classroom program on civics, democracy and activism, followed by completion of an activity sheet on a self-guided tour of the Unity Center and current exhibits. Aligned with 6th-12th grade History-Social Science, Common Core ELA, Civics outcomes and CASEL Core SEL Competencies.
